I am Khant Zaw Tun, also known as Howard. I previously studied at the Yangon University of Education for three years. Currently, I am looking into the international program for a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Sustainable Development at Chiang Mai University. I am also an awardee of the Community Service Internship Program of Beam Education Foundation. Additionally, I am volunteering as a coordinator at Sofia Learning Club. In the EduHub organization, I work as a mentor for Myanmar students who are planning to study in Thailand.

I am Joe. I am a Prospect Burma Scholar, currently studying at Asia-Pacific International University in Thailand. Before this scholarship journey, I have experience in working as an international curriculum teacher at Winner International Education for a year. I am passionate about teaching and education. Throughout my university life at Yangon University of Education, I engaged in volunteering and community development programs. I worked as SRHR Peer Counselor Youth Volunteer at Thit Yeik Youth Center, DKT International Myanmar for 6 months. I have led peer trainings and group projects about sex education and youth development. Besides that, I also joined many teacher development programs offered by ELP Myanmar and American Center, Yangon. I am a certified teacher from SEAMEO INNOTECH and I have finished many professional development courses such as Becoming A Better Teacher Everyday (BBTE) and Teach On: Keeping the Passion Alive Courses. I have finished 150 hour TESOL training from Arizona State University including The Teacher Tree Program (Adult) and Accessed Educators 2021 (YSEALI Projects) as well as Global Online Course nominated by the U.S Embassy, Rangoon. I have led many teacher development workshops virtually and in-person such as Engaging Online Activities with ASEAN teachers from Accessed Educators Program 2021. I was selected to join the Young ASEAN Leaders Policy Initiative (YALPI 2020) at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and IFP Conference at Mae Sot, Thailand.
